Formed through a partnership between Southern Coal Handling and Ashley Capital in 2002, SCH Services, LLC is the parent company of Southern Coal Handling, Cornette Engineering Services, and Specialized Fuel Sales. Through its affiliate companies, SCH Services provides comprehensive bulk material handling services and can assist customers from the mine to end-use location.

Southern Coal Handling is the terminal development and operating affiliate of SCH Services and specializes in the design, construction, and operation of bulk handling terminals. Southern Coal Handling currently operates materials handling terminals in three states.

Cornette Engineering Services is the civil engineering affiliate of SCH Services and specializes in engineering projects focused on materials handling and mine design.

Specialized Fuels is the fuel sales affiliate of SCH Services and assists customers in the procurement of fuels and specializes in the entire logistical fuel procurement process, from sourcing to delivery.
