Gary has served as the company’s Vice President of Sales and Service since joining the staff in 2001. Since that time, he has successfully maintained the company’s mutually beneficial relationships with a wide variety of utilities, coal producers, railroads and barge transportation companies. He is responsible for identifying market opportunities and assessing our competitive advantages. In addition to securing new business, he also has primary responsibility for fulfilling our corporate goal of providing the highest level of service in the industry. In this regard, he directly coordinates the needs and desires of our customers and transportation partners with our terminal managers. Gary’s previous 23 years of experience as a former Manager of Fuel Transportation for the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and a major coal producer, as well as three years serving as a coal terminal manager, has allowed him to bring a powerful perspective to his current position. He is also a Professional Engineer with a degree from Western Kentucky University.
