Don has been Director of Sales for Specialized Fuel Sales since its creation. He has 36 years of experience in all facets of the coal mining industry. Beginning his mining career on a survey crew and then project management he obtained his Land Surveyors License from the State of Kentucky. He later became Dock Superintendent of a high-volume barge loading facility and then Transportation Manager. His career continued in coal sales gaining knowledge and understanding the Illinois Basin and Appalachian Coal markets. Don's 23 years of experience in sales and transportation of coal provides a better understanding of what may be available in the market place, giving an economic advantage to Specialized Fuel Sales' customers.
